Love EVERY Body Week is a time to honor and appreciate the differences between every single person. We are promoting a healthy lifestyle and healthy body image throughout the week to encourage everyone to love themselves and respect others.
 

Monday, January 14

Positive Messages

5:30-6:30 p.m. | Cafeteria
6:30-7:30 p.m. | Student Union Lobby

Find Recreation and Leadership staff in the Student Union and Cafeteria throughout the day where you can write positive messages for other students to look at throughout the week and learn about other events happening.

The silhouettes with the positive messages will be hung in the Fitness Center over the mirrors to allow people to focus to positive, healthy thoughts.

Also learn about all our other events happening throughout the week and sign up for the Meal Prepping session.

Tuesday, January 15

Tanita Body Composition

3-5 p.m. | Mathy Center 2nd Floor Conference Room

Have you always wondered what your body fat percentage, body water content, and other information about your own body?

Stop by to meet with a member of our Personal Training staff to find out your body’s numbers and learn about the programs that we offer to help you achieve your goals.

Training staff will use a non-invasive Tanita Scale to conduct the body composition testing.

Other body composition testing such as waist to hip ratio or skinfold testing is available upon request.  

Yoga Supersession

6:30-8 p.m. | Mathy Center Multi-Purpose Room

Join our nationally certified instructor for a 90-minute yoga session that is sure to hit every great aspect of your favorite yoga classes.

This class is perfect for first time beginners as well as advanced yogis.

Yoga equipment will be raffled off as prizes, just for attending!

Wednesday, January 16

Zumbathon

6:30-8 p.m. | Mathy Center Gym, Viterbo Court

Get your body moving with a Zumbathon with our instructor, Kelli!

There will also be a free raffle giveaway of Amazon gift cards and Recreation gear.

All abilities are welcome, so grab your friends and dance with us!

Meal Prep on a Budget

4-5 p.m. | Nursing 284 (Food Lab)

Learn some tips for easy meal prepping, even when you’re working with a tight budget!

Join the Student Dietetics Association as they demonstrate meal prepping options, to kick your semester off right.

Friday, January 18

Tanita Body Composition Testing

11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. | Mathy Center Conference Room 2

Have you always wondered what your body fat percentage, body water content, and other information about your own body?

Stop by to meet with a trainer or fitness specialist to find out your body’s numbers and learn about the programs that we offer to help you achieve your goals.

The Personal Training staff will use the non-invasive Tanita scale to conduct the body composition testing.
