THE BEST OF JIM WITTER: A MUSICAL JOURNEY THROUGH THE 60S, 70S, AND 80S AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY MARCH 29

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Jim Witter’s first performance at Viterbo University with The Best of Jim Witter: A Musical Journey through the 60s, 70s, and 80s at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 29 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

The Best of Jim Witter: A Musical Journey through the 60s, 70s, and 80s will feature audience favorites from previous performances at Viterbo by Witter and his band, including hits by Elton John, Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, and many more. Audience members will enjoy a nostalgic evening celebrating the songs and stories of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

Witter has been entertaining crowds for over 30 years. Whether it be his original music or the music of any of the other many artists he pays tribute to, Witter’s versatility as an artist has allowed him the opportunity to reach out and share his music and his infectious personality with audiences of all ages across the U.S., Canada, and internationally.

A Viterbo audience favorite for nearly a decade, some of Jim Witter’s previous performances at Viterbo were Piano Menand Piano Men IIFeelin’ Groovy—A Musical Journey through the 60s featuring the Music of Simon and GarfunkelThe Long and Winding Road: The Music of Lennon and McCartneyJim Witter’s Coffee House, and Jim Witter’s Christmas Memories.

The Best of Jim Witteris a Viterbo special presentation. It is sponsored in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
