2017 Humanities Symposium-Death

 

The Humanities ­Symposium brings interdisciplinary perspective and debate to contemporary topics. It demonstrates ­Viterbo University’s conviction that the liberal arts ­develop wise and informed citizens.

The Humanities Symposium is presented by the Viterbo University College of Arts and Letters. The event is also supported by the Office of Communications and Marketing, the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership, the Viterbo Student Nursing Association, and the Viterbo Fine Arts Center.

2nd Main Session: Practical Matters [Medical Examiner, Social Worker, FAC Hospice/Palliative Care Worker, Funeral Director, Interpreter, and Advanced Directive Consultant]

Breakout Discussion 1: Faculty-led discussion groups addressing death, dying, grief, and loss through cross-disciplinary lenses.
