Transfer Transition Program

Transitioning to a new university can be challenging.  Our Transfer Transition Program is designed to provide our new transfer students with resources to aid in a smooth transition to Viterbo University.  We can help you explore your academic major, get more information about Viterbo services, and connect you with a peer mentor to aid in your successful transition to Viterbo.  The program offers:

  • Weekly email communication regarding important services on our campus
  • Connection to a peer mentor to help you navigate your time at Viterbo

The Transfer Transition Program is offered through the Center for Student Success, which is located on the third floor of Murphy Center in room 337.  For assistance or for any questions you may have, please visit our office; call 608-796-3084; email; or use the chat box by clicking on Center for Student Success on the left navigation menu.  The chat box will be on the lower right of the CSS web page.

Hi, my name is Nichole, and I transferred to Viterbo a year ago to major in the university's renowned dietetics program.  Before I moved to La Crosse, I served as an active duty military member in the Air Force.  I know from experience that switching schools or going back to school from a break can be tough; that is why I am happy to help people make their transition as smooth as possible.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about your transition to Viterbo.

Hi! I am Miranda Zipp, one of the transfer mentors for this year's school  year.  I was at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for two years before I transferred to Viterbo.  I am now a junior in the nursing program and am involved in many things on campus.  The transfer mentor program allows me to connect new students to resources, people, and events that go on in class.
